Saba Anvery

Candidate for Hillsboro City Council

Committed to serving the community and to bringing positive change to the city.

Why is Saba Running ?

Participation in Government

Saba understands that democracy is messy and slow, but it is precious and fragile, and it can only work when ordinary people participate in it.

Hillsboro is Home

Saba has lived in Hillsboro for twenty-four years. Hillsboro offered safety, community and opportunity. She wants to give back to this wonderful place.

Priorities

Hillsboro is facing complex challenges. The city has taken good steps in solving these issues. More needs to be done.

Saba knows that together Hillsboro can:

  1. Create affordable housing options

  2. Improve the transportation systems so that they can work for everyone

  3. Help foster economic opportunities that promote equality and inclusivity

  4. Implement creative and sustainable climate change solutions

Saba is a problem solver. As an engineer and an engineering manager, she has learned that the best solutions come from collaboration and listening to every voice. She is committed to working with the community, listening to every voice, and finding solutions that benefit everyone and ensure Hillsboro's future readiness.

“Let's work together to build a Hillsboro that is equitable, sustainable, and thriving for all. Hillsboro is Home.”
